MLB remains the hottest bet at BetAnySports for anyone looking for daily action in a major US sports league. With the regular season rapidly approaching its halfway point, a few teams have been cashing in regularly by winning the majority of their games while a few others have positioned themselves as excellent teams to go against right now with far more losses than wins.

Two teams at opposite ends of that spectrum reside in the NL East. The surging Atlanta Braves have opened up a 5.5-game lead on the Philadelphia Phillies with an overall record of 46-33 through 79 games. They have cooled a bit at 6-4 over their last 10 games, but their record in the month of June stands at 16-6. Atlanta continues this week’s extended four-game road series against the Chicago Cubs ahead of three games this weekend at Citi Field against the New York Mets.

The Phillies snapped a seven-game skid with Monday night’s 13-7 win against the Mets closing as -133 home favorites with BetAnySports. This was just their second victory in their last 10 games that were all played against division foes. They will play three more games against New York this week before going on the road this weekend for three games against Miami.

Another New York team tops this week’s Hot List with the Yankees going 9-1 in their last 10 games. They reached the 50-win mark on Monday night with a 10-8 victory at home against Toronto closing as heavy -260 favorites. Their lead over Tampa Bay in the AL East is five games and New York also gained some ground on the Boston Red Sox, who are 7-3 in their last 10 outings. New York will play two more games against the Blue Jays before traveling to Boston for a rare two-game weekend series on Saturday and Sunday.

The Cleveland Indians are making some noise in the AL Central with a four-game winning streak as part of an 8-2 mark in their last 10 games. At 43-35 overall, they have closed to gap with Minnesota to 7.5 games. The Twins are an AL-best 50-27 on the year, but they slipped to 5-5 in their last 10 games.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have the best record in the Majors at 54-26 through 80 games. They are a full 12 games up on Colorado in the NL West and widening the gap at 7-3 in their last 10 games. This week, the Dodgers are on the road against Arizona for three games and the Rockies for four games this weekend.
