Tommy D. is going to break down this awesome game and give us his predictions and odds for today.

Detroit was expected to be amongst the worst teams in baseball at the All-Star Break. The team is not good, and they will finish below .500. Although, they are in third place in the American League Central. Jonathan Schoop has been the do-all for Detroit as Cruz has been for Minnesota. Schoop is batting .274/.321/.473 with 16 HR and 49 RBI. I credit A.J. Hinch for the team’s surprising competitiveness in 2021. Detroit may have a record well below .500, but they are very competitive. They force opponents to earn wins, and this will translate to pennants in the future as young players become more experienced.

NFL Picks Cowboys vs Cardinals

The Dallas Cowboys head to Arizona to face off against the Arizona Cardinals in a preseason showdown. The Cowboys are looking to fare better than their 2020 record when they finished with a 6-10. There are a few players we won’t be seeing from the Dallas Cowboys 2020 roster either so be on the lookout for that. Considering there have been some injuries in camp there could be a couple of Dallas players missing in the game.

This game will take place on Friday, August 13, in Glendale, Arizona. The Cardinals had a slightly better record finishing 8-8 in 2020. This Arizona NFL team looks fit to make a run in the NFC West. Today, we’re going to go over the Cowboys vs Cardinals odds and a preview of each team. Along with that, we’ll give you our Dallas Cowboys vs Arizona Cardinals predictions. So let’s get started on our Cowboys vs. Cardinals Prediction, Odds and Over/Under.

Dallas Is Likely To Be Without Prescott On Friday

One of the players dealing with injuries in camp is Cowboys quarterback, Dak Prescott. He’s been working through some shoulder soreness and his plan is to return next week. That being said, we’ll see the same quarterbacks from their game against the Steelers on Thursday. For those of you that missed the game on Thursday, the Cowboys lost 16-3. Garrett Gilbert was the Cowboys leading passer for Thursday’s game, finishing with 104 yards.

We could potentially get a glimpse of Ezekiel Elliot on Friday. He isn’t listed on the Cowboys’ injury report and would like to get in some playtime before the season starts. If Elliot does play, that could bring some offense to the Cowboys on Friday. Considering some of the main guys will be missing, the backups will have to step up their game. Per BetOnline, the Cowboys are only +1.5-point underdogs, not much room for error.

Arizona Is Ready To Start The Season

This is Arizona’s first game of the 2021 NFL season and we imagine they’re ready to get the games rolling. This team started to get hot late in the 2020 season but unfortunately closed the season with an 8-8 record. Playoffs are hopefully on the horizon for the Arizona Cardinals and this is the first step. The question is, could we see some starters on Friday night?

There are only a few players listed on the injury list for the Arizona Cardinals which means we could see Kyler Murray. The star quarterback finished the 2020 season with nearly 4,000 yards passing. The connection between Murray and DeAndre Hopkins should be on full display Friday night, if only for a few drives. Friday will give us a good sample size of what we can expect this season.

Dallas Cowboys Vs Arizona Cardinals Prediction

We’ve seen what the second and third teams for the Dallas Cowboys look like in their game against the Steelers. This group was only able to score three points through the game, leaving us with little confidence. The Cowboys vs Cardinals odds per BetOnline are Cowboys +1.5 with the over/under at 39.5.

We believe the Cardinals’ depth will overwhelm the Dallas Cowboys on Friday night. They have a deep roster with a strong offense, including rookie Rondale Moore. Take into account that we’ve already seen the lack of offense from Dallas in the game versus Pittsburgh. That should make it clear who the winning team will be on Friday. OSB Official Pick: Arizona Cardinals -1.5 (at BetOnline) The spread isn’t large enough here for the Cardinals to not cover here. They have a much deeper roster and will close the game with a win on Friday. Our Cowboys vs. Cardinals Picks: Cardinals win, and Cardinals -1.5.
