Ok, let’s get to the Expert Predictions for tonight’s Monday Night Football Wild Card Playoff Game.

This will be the third time these two NFC West rivals will square off this season and in the previous two meetings it was the road team that prevailed.

The Cardinals started the season 7-0 – and that included a Week 4 win on this same field against the Rams, but since that hot start, Arizona went just 4-6 the rest of the way as it battled injuries to QB Kyler Murray, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and defensive lineman JJ Watt. Hopkins will likely miss the remainder of the season and the offense has definitely been affected by his absence.

In the four games the All Pro receiver has missed over the last month, the Cardinals have averaged just 20 points per game and have topped the 25 point plateau in a game just once.

As for the Rams, QB Matthew Stafford started the season on fire, but he has regressed badly in recent weeks, throwing eight interceptions and posting a 52.3 quarterback rating in the final four games of the season.

Both of the regular season meetings went over the total between these two teams, and the number has been posted right around the same neighborhood at 50, but we think these are two totally different offenses as the teams limp into the postseason, so we expect the defenses to have the edge tonight in LA.

Arizona has gone under in 13 of its last 17 road games and without Hopkins they finished the season going under in three of their last four games. The Rams are 11-3 to the under as a home favorite in this stadium the last two seasons and Head Coach Sean McVay has gone 25-10 to the under with the Rams when his team is the favorite.

So, for our Monday Night Football NFL Wild Card Playoff Game Best Bet let’s go under the total in tonight’s Arizona Cardinals vs LA Rams game.
