Buffalo Bills Overview
The Bills are a team that’s shaping up to grab a Super Bowl title for themselves. Last season, they got all the way to the AFC Championship game, before being eliminated by the Chiefs. This year they’ll hope to get a quick start with a preseason win over the Detroit Lions. We likely won’t see some of their best players though. Stefon Diggs is listed as questionable, along with running back Zack Moss. We’ll likely get a preview of quarterback Josh Allen but not for more than a few drives.
There are two players who we all should be excited to see though. First, Mitchell Tribusky, the second-string quarterback for the Bills. The second, Jake Fromm, one of the top quarterback prospects not long ago is the third-string quarterback. Both of these players will get a lot of time on the field, Tribusky being the more seasoned player.
Detroit Lions Overview
The Lions didn’t have the same 2020 season as the Buffalo Bills. Yet again, they finished at the bottom of their division with a 5-11 record. This caused a big shakeup to occur in Detroit that saw them part ways with Matthew Stafford. Now, the starting quarterback is Jared Goff, the former Rams quarterback.
We’ll likely see a lot from Goff on Friday as he needs these games to get adjusted to the team. However, aside from Goff, the Lions don’t have a very deep team. Considering the backup at the QB position for Goff is Tim Boyle, the Lions offense could be in trouble.
Buffalo Bills Vs Detroit Prediction
Buffalo comes in as +1.5 underdogs for some reason so we’ll definitely take them to win this preseason game on the road. The Bills have more depth at the quarterback spot and more talent overall. Our Buffalo Bills vs. Detroit Lions Point Spread Analysis sees Buffalo +1.5 as the choice!
