The Boston Red Sox come into Thursday night’s Game 5 of the ALCS best-of-seven showdown against the Houston Astros with a commanding 3-1 series lead. Game time from Minute Maid Park is set for 8:09 p.m. on TBS with David Price penciled in as Boston’s starter while the Astros turn to Justin Verlander to keep this series alive.

Turning to the NLCS series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Milwaukee Brewers, Friday’s Game 6 is scheduled for a 8:39 p.m. start on FOX Sports 1 from Miller Park. The Dodgers took a 3-2 series lead with Wednesday’s 5-2 victory in Los Angeles and they have been opened as -120 road favorites to close this series out in six games. They will go with Hyun-Jin Ryu as their starter with Milwaukee sending Wade Miley to the mound. BetAnySports has set the total for this game at eight runs.

The NBA tipped off its new season earlier this week and one of top matchups on Saturday’s slate in a late 10:30 p.m. on ESPN is a Western Conference clash between the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers. Sunday’s highlighted game on NBA TV at 9 p.m. pits the Rockets at the Staples Center against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Saturday’s college football slate features four head-to-head matchups between nationally ranked teams. In one of the top games of the day, the ACC’s No. 3 Clemson Tigers are coming off a bye as 17.5-point home favorites against the surprising 5-0 No. 16 North Carolina State Wolfpack in a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN from Memorial Stadium. The betting line for the total in this Atlantic Division tilt has been set at 56. The Wolfpack have gone 5-1 against the spread in their last six road games against the Tigers and the total has stayed UNDER in five of the last six meetings in Clemson.

When it comes to Sunday’s NFL betting board, there are three head-to-head matchups between division rivals. That slate is highlighted by a NFC East battle between the 3-3 Dallas Cowboys and the 3-2 Washington Redskins in a 4:25 p.m. start on CBS at FedEx Field. The Redskins currently lead the division by a half game and they are slight 1.5 favorites to maintain that lead at the end of the day. BetAnySports’ total line for this game is 41.5 points and it has gone OVER in the last five meetings in this heated division rivalry
